@@JohnPaulMusicUK I saw that one first lol. I didn't realize that I watched them out of order. I have to say that the feature set of the Showbox is impressive. I just wish that the live sound was as impressive. I will keep it for recording and live streaming. I continue to use my EV Everse 8 or 12. The sound of the EV's are noticeably better and fuller than the Showbox.

Yep! It’s pretty versatile!

Normal toppers wont do it as they are normally 8.5mm. Morningstar switches are a little wider and you will need something that has a wider fit. Have a look at the Barefoot 'BIG Bore' size which should do it. (not a sponsored link hahaha) barefootbuttons.com/product-tag/big-bore/

I dont own an AirTurn BT500S-4 personally but I do know that they are shipped by default to by keystroke. you need to change it over to MIDI mode so you can send CC numbers over to the WIDI Jack. Ive found the official video for you from Airturn where they acyully pair it up to a WIDI Jack. Hey 👋 So it is in the pipeline as soon as I can get hold of one. I did do a HRLB Vs RC-600 video a while back but as you mentioned the workflow is different for the Sheeran X. The two major things that I can see is the muting you mentioned.. and also the way the effects work is very different too. They are tied to the track. So you have to select the track with the effect on and it will work. This is also part of Ed’s workflow which is unique and might not suit everyone. HOWEVER.. they have mentioned they are working of software / firmware updates with the Sheeran X and maybe that will change. The RC-600 is Much more flexible when it comes to things like that but then it’s more work. Have a look at the HRLB vs RC-600 video if you haven’t already. Should do. You might need to just measure them and then you can grab what you need. Might not necessarily need the Bundl5 but a sub set of them. Maybe the XL depending on size. The great thing is they all interconnect and you can be as imaginative as you want. Lego stands for musicians that useful! Loved building it and then thinking ‘oooh what config can I make out of them. 🤣

Hey. There is a looper built into the Cube Street 2. Found this on Page 7 of the Cube Street 2 Manual: *Operating the looper with a footswitch* You can also operate the looper by using a footswitch (FS-5U, FS-6 or FS-7, sold separately). - If a footswitch is connected, recording starts not when audio is input but when you press the footswitch (connected via the plug tip). - Playback and overdubbing operations are the same as when using the [LOOP] button. - If you press the footswitch (connected via the plug tip) twice in one second, the looper stops. - If you hold down the footswitch (connected via the plug tip) for two seconds or longer, the phrase is cleared. You can set to memory increase and memory decrease and if you hold them down, they will scroll. 👍🏻

It’s not solid wood but it’s solid as in sturdy. No wobbling as of yet and not expecting it. A few of the’ fake wood’ sticker covers have fallen off cause they aren’t very sticky.. but not a deal breaker. It’s a bargain.

You can change the drum parts with an external foot switch. But you can also change memories whilst playing and it will be a completely different rhythm.

Hey! so glad you are thinking about it but yes there are no effects. The best way would be to connect an effects processor (something like the tc-helicon voicelive play acoustic or the Boss VE-500 or equivalent) BEFORE the unit. So instruments and mic go into the effects unit and then the out of that goes into the looper. that way you can record the effects into the loops and make things interesting. Hope that helps.

Technically yes.. however you will have to separate the mic and instrument output from the input button. Pan the mic one way and the instrument the other. Then you can grab the audio out of one side and the other. Downside is it’s all mono. But not the worst thing in the world 🤣

Oh wow! That sucks. Okay. Let’s see if I can help. What looper? Your talking assigns so I’m guessing by Boss. Have you saved the assign to the memory when you set it? If it’s an assign it’s ’per memory’. That’s mad about it resetting.

@@JohnPaulMusicUK rc-600. updated software. set up per your set up and some ideas from ross gallagher. issue just trying it with a saved playback, not even with looping. I need a global fade out at the momen. I have saved it every time for the memory i’m on, but it seems to move only to the difference between the master volume and the assign volume: i.e. I get to 50 if master is set to 100 and assign set to 200. When I unplug the pedal the whole thing resets including my master volume. It’s acting possessed!

I would def keep the play acoustic. You can’t buy them anywhere and they are as you said fantastic paired with the 600 so if you sold it and regret it I think you’d struggle to replace it.

@@ministryinsong Yeah id probably rather have tc helicon harmony singer 2 just cause its smaller.

The RC-600 harmonies are actually pretty good. I was using the RC-600 harmonies but each harmony uses one effect so if you want an upper, lower and same pitch harmonies will use 3 effects and the RC-600 can only have 4 effects at a time. I needed delay, chorus and other effects so ended up getting a Harmony Singer pedal. I also use the OC-5 for bass effect w/ my acoustic 12 string guitar.

@@bkhawaii I use the harmony singer 2 on my board and it’s fantastic but playing the guitar I can’t have a third above say at a verse then 3 part at the chorus because you have to turn the white knob unless you could master that with a foot - and that’s no happening with my flippers! Easy on the play acoustic though. It’s also battery hungry I run it off a power supply now.

Hey Ronnie - so yeah the harmonies on the 600 are good but as said on this thread, it takes up effects and also it’s not natural play. Hence why I keep my TCHVLPA. No. The sounds are all coming from the RC-600. The pad is a midi controller with no internal sounds of its own.
